So I went out to meet a guy to buy his mint condition Boss RC-20xl off him, so mint infact it still has the loops loaded on it from the factory.
and what do I find when I get in.......
Sinister Analog Ultra Lord
Source Audio Soundblox Tri Mod Wah
Molten Voltage Toggle
and my little flip camera so I can finally do pedal clips and demos and such.
Unfortunately I have to go to band practice now. Don't you hate it when a band gets in the way of your music

The guy was selling German-Shorthaired Pointers for $150 a piece, but he wasn't getting any traffic except for us. He promptly offered us all 9 of his puppies for the price of one.
I still can't decide whether we made a good decision or not. |

I don't really see what idiotic about putting stamps on a postal box though... It needs a lot so it equals the amount that it would be to buy one more expensive stamp. I'd say that's quite the opposite of schmo-ness, I'm sure it would take a little bit of adding and working out to get the right amount! |

I just meant that it looks pretty silly with all the stamps on it- they probably could have gone to the post office and back in the time it took to put them all on |

I think I'll stop the discussion of stamp use before it goes too far...
I'm just filling up time to wait for TaySte to come back and tell us how the pedals were! |

edit- in response to whats stupid about using stamps- nothing- just as functional- but i will say it is quite wasteful. when the ice caps melt i will know who to blame.

Short review:
Toggle - Uses a positive tip power supply so couldn't even try it.
RC-20xl - Lot of fun, have to change how I loop since my past 2 loopers you have to hold the button down to overdub.
Ultra Lord - Love it, keeper, loads of sounds, exactly what I expected knew I was going to keep it before I got it due to it being discontinued.
Tri Mod Wah - Took a bit to figure out the hot hand controller only due to doing the man thing and not reading the manual, it's really cool and works exactly how the videos show, I've not nailed a filter sound I'm happy with but I am very impressed with how it works and the blue led on the hot hand doesn't hurt.

I work in the retail buisness, so this makes perfectly good sense if the company is in a small town with a small post office. I'm kinda surprised that ToneFactor doesn't print their own labels/have an account with the post office though. We ship 150+ packages a day though, so maybe they don't do enough buisness to have an account? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
