Rocktron Blue Thunder for example. Now I don't use anything but...If I was looking I would just want Overdrive and Compression which is On-board My Carvin BX500. I always use both features to get a little extra Growl & Sustain. It really depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Then we can discuss the best pedal for getting that done.
Some Bassists are in a 3 piece band and need to fill a void with some extra rhythm. While some have 2 guitarists and and a Nice Clean pure Bass sound seems to fit the Bill.

| | | | Boss has decent pedals especially the bass overdrive. If you can go to a music store during the day in the middle of the week and play around. Find things you like. I prefer single pedals to multi effect pedals. |
