Low filter - all the way to the right
Rate - about 5 o clock
Depth - about 9 o clock

I had this pedal for a long time and played a lot with the settings, but always went back to the manual's slap setting, with the low-filter set around 3 o'clock.

Glad to help. By most accounts, the CEB-3 is considered a subtle chorus. It worked well for me, specially with the overdrive from a SansAmp BDDI. Sold it because want to go analog.

I just repleaced mine with a CE-3 but I often liked these settings:

E. Level - 12:00
Low Filter - 12:00
Rate - 1:00
Depth - 4:30

this next one is taped to the bottom of the pedal, it's the setting I used when it was my only pedal and I knew nothing about pedals.

E. Level - 3:00
Low Filter - maxxed
Rate - 1:30
Depth - 3:00

My starting point on that pedal is 1:00-2:00 on everything.

From there I will see what my guitarist thinks/complains about and my own impression in the live mix based on room.

While I've had this pedal on my board for probably about 5 years, it finds only occasional use (and is run in FX loop). I just use it when doing tapping stuff or almost "lead bass" melodic direction of the music. I probably use it more on my own than on stage.
