Best single-space rackmount parametric EQ?

Sign in to disble this ad
Before the end of the year, I'll be in the market for a high-quality single-rackspace, single-channel parametric equalizer for a new live rig I'm developing. Am open to and and all suggestions.

Looking for units with a form factor of 10 inches deep or shallower, since I'll be using an SKB shallow X-rack. Budget limit would be about $250.

Thanks,

MM

There are some great units by Ashly, Symetrix, and Rane which can be found used within your budget and within the size specified. I use an Ashly currently and I'm quite pleased with it. New, there's the Presonus EQ-3B which people speak well of, but I haven't used that one myself. Also the old ART Tube Parametric is a very nice-sounding unit, but definitely not as rugged as the first three I mentioned.

The others I know of are above your price range.
