Are Bi-amp/multi-channel boards "out"?

Just seems like a lot of people are sticking to a single big chain, or a single small chain.

I remember there were some really awesome multi-channel boards on here at one time.....

After I get my Barge VBjr (still waiting for it to ship ) I'm thinking of building a large multi-channel board

I'm working towards one. It's been a slow process though. I'm going to be able to at least run stereo. Eventually I'll go quad.

A custom, individual-loop-blending GigRig PRO board is still the most important element of my dream board.

And, just look around. There are still many people here who use bypass strips to great effect.

It's less important to me as it once was since effects makers actually started putting in blend knobs in bass distortion units and optimizing effects for bass. Thought about running a 2-ch rig again for about an hour a couple weeks ago, but really, I'm getting everything I want with a single chain, so screw it.

Screw trends, do what you want.

Every great once in awhile I think about running a stereo setup, but most of the time I prefer to keep things simple, so that is what I do.

I'll run when stereo for clean/effects when I can afford to - and when my band finally starts 'letting' me use effects. Of course, I'm into MIDI/rackmount stuff so it will be expensive and heavy.

And awesome!

I have two parallel loops. One I dubbed the HOG loop and the other I dubbed the BMS loop (see cuz I'm all creative). The HOG loop also has a Holy Stain, Nano Stone and Micro Q Tron, the BMS will get the Stone one day and the HOG may get a B2 or something like that in the future. Sometimes I don't use either loop, sometimes I use both loops, sometimes I pick one. They both go into an English Muff'n. It's almost always awesome.

Here's a pic since I'm dropping it all over this site anyway.
