Big Crush Question

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, this question is pretty simple i guess mainly aimed at Bongo.

Ok, I have a Rocktron Big Crush and it find it annoying that it is on my board and always on. So could i put it in my effects loop? is it suitable?

Cheers

It would depend on your effects loop. I am guessing that the Big Crush is designed for an instrument-level input, so if your effects loop is line-level (which most are, especially if it is back-mounted) the signal might be too hot for the compressor to handle, and you would constantly reducing gain, and probably getting a lot of distortion as well.
