Big Green Big Muff problems!!!

Hi guys,
I have an all green Big Muff that I bought a year ago from a friend for $40. I thought it was a new reissue as it looks brand new. After a little research, I think it's from the 90's (I'm not too sure). Anyways, I played with it a little & it seems to have a few issues:

The HUGE button pops upon engagement most of the time. Doesn't seem like it sould be this loud.

Also, sometimes it's quiter & weaker sounding in comparison to other times. OR, it starts out sounding fine & then will just drop to about 50% of the intensity & volume level for no apparent reason (yes, I tried many batteries).

I really like thew sound of it when it works properly & but would really like to just be able to trust it. Do you guys know of anyone or companies that make reliable footswitches & can fix the volume/intenmsity issues?

Check the solders. Sounds like a loose/cold solder might be the culprit.

I would check Small Bear electronics. They have a lot of old EHX replacement parts
