So I am using a Bass Big Muff - is there some trick to this pedal or any fuzz/distortion box so it doesn't feedback the minute I kick it on before I start playing? Once I play it's fine but before and after it starts to feedback. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

1. Play around with the tone and sustain settings (Although i find this loses alot of the distortion)
2. Just place your hand flat on the strings above the pickup when not playing. Mutes it nicely.

| | | | yeah, i tend to keep the sustain and tone up all the way, as it does lose the nice fuzzy buzz turned down - i do try mute it with my palm as best i can but would like to find a balance. guess i just need to turn down the levels. |

| | | | I actually use the feedback. I can turn to my amp and play without picking the strings and it almost sounds like a cello. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
