Birthday Pedal

Sign in to disble this ad
So as my birthday is getting nearer I have been thinking about what I'd like to get myself for it. I've decided I will not go overboard this year so I'm gonna try and narrow it down to one pedal with the help of my favorite bass-effects internet community. Now I realize I really didn't give any insight as to what kind of tone I want. Just to let everyone know, I'm not going for a specific tone....I just want a new toy!

Please if you are going to vote give your reasons for choosing that pedal. Thanks guys!

Oh, I see you have a poll now. I thought you were looking for suggestions....But still......

My vote goes for the NoiseBox. Just because.

That's going to be my next pedal, along with the Mule.

Yeah, your to quick...it took me a couple mins to get the poll up.

FYI I currently own: Crowther Prunes and Custard, 2 Cream Pies and a Colorsound Tonebender as far as gain pedals go (which is what all those are in one way or another).

I'm bringing it back: Carrots.
Or a nice, self-ocillation-capable analog delay.

I would choose the mule, which is based off the Way Huge Red Llama, which is based off the Tube Sound Fuzz. The "polish love" pedal that everyone is in love with is a clone of it, and with the reviews it is getting, it seems like a great overdrive pedal for bass. The mule is essentially the same circuit with a few changes here and there.

I would buy the Noise Box.
It seems like you have your normal fuzz bases covered, and this one is more of just somthing to have fun with.

My dog, my brother, the girl across the street, the paperboy and the mailman all vote for the NoiseBox. There you go, that's ten!

You're really set on me buying a noisebox aren't you? Get those 5 people to get a TB account and vote and I'll be convinced.

Yeah I had my mind set on one a really long time ago and never got around to buying it. If things go its way in the pole I'll have one waiting on my doorstep soon.

Where are you buying yours from? ToneFactor?

(Assuming that one wins the poll, of course.)

Most likely tonefactor, I don't know if he carries Devi Ever or not though.
