Biyang DS-8

Anyone got any experience with this, or Biyang stuff in general? I'm looking at getting a RAT, and came across this, at first i dismissed it as a run of the mill cheap crappy Chinese knock off, but the true bypass and clipping options have intrigued me

I've got 4 Biyang pedals, and I think they're great. They get really good reviews on harmony-central. The DS-8 isn't one of them, but the ones I have are cool. There's an ebay seller name of "hazed and confused" that's my source.

I bought this and another biyang pedal off a guy on ebay and they're on the lower end of the pedals available out there.

Very noisy and I thought the compressor was useless.

I returned them for my money back.

Spend more money and get better equipment, it is part of your signal chain either way you look at it.
