I think the guy who made these pedals now makes the Mad Professor pedals. I could be wrong though.

But if I'm not, does anybody know if any of the Mad Professor OD pedals work well with bass like the BlueBerry OD?

The forum www.bjfe.org should have a list somewhere, but its not really easy to find. Is there anything in partucular you were wondering about, I've used a few and might be able to help with some of them.

Have't used the mad professor line, but the Little green wonder is tubescreamer-ish so that might be OK... there isn't anything based on the blueberry directly, so if that's what you're looking for you probly need the BJF pedal. The others could be good, but I haven't heard.

The Mad Professor effects are made by somebody else. He has worked out an agreement with Bjorn where he uses Bjorn's basic circuits and cosmetics, but does not use the exact same components and does not have whatever secret personal mojo Bjorn puts into the black rubber mystery of the pedals he hand-builds. Basically the Mad Professors are like Lakland Skyline or Sadowsky Metro or Fender MIJ etc.

I haven't seen a Mad Prof. version of the Blueberry either.

There's a lot of discussion of his stuff on the web, and yes his forum is one good place to start looking. Another "list" may be found at the retailers in Europe that carry his pedals, they list all of his pedals even though they may only have two or three of them in stock.

The Pine Green is an excellent bass-friendly compressor, although I'm not sure it necessarily worth mortgaging the farm for.

Odd idea, but the old BJFE website had a list of all his pedals, including lots of custom one-off type stuff. Maybe search a web archive thingy.

Eh, not really helpful, but something is usually better than nothing, unless we're talking about communicable disease.
