as of late I have been looking into overdrives and fuzzes alot more and when I came across clips I really like the sound. But my big question is: is it worth the fairly hefty price tag?
And also how good are these in a band situation?
Thanks

Yes.

Great.
Now, are you willing to spend the money? |

I seriously lucked into mine. I traded a used compulator + $. It was very worth it. It cuts through fine in my trio and it has the most amazing tone and response. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I was on the verge of buying something much more affordable when it came along. I wouldn't have spent the $ or had the patience to wait once I'd made up my mind. |

As Swift said, whether it works in a band depends on the band- but if the band's sound would normally involve either rocking or rolling, then yes it will work just fine. |

I was using the piezo on a fretless synapse with the volume about 1/2 way and the Blueberry's gain all the way down. It made for a nice warm sound that worked great with acoustic guitar. |

If that is a requirement of yours, they are worth it. Since I only like that vintage tone every so often, and prefer it with a controllable volume level if at all possible, it is perfect for my needs. If I wanted that sound all the time, I'd put that money toward an SVT/Sunn/Orange/Whatever stack instead.

Now, as it happens I did my damnedest to carve away the rubber, but I have temporarily given up on drawing out a schemo because so many parts have their identifier marks sanded off, and the parts are just soldered together in clumps on some perf, not cleanly organized on a tidy board with traces. And it is literally impossible to get all of the rubber off the parts.
I am curious too, obviously, but FWIW it's really tacky to "expect" to be handed his design for free. |

You pretty much have to watch the TB classifieds like a hawk, as they do show up there once in a little while; or order from the place in Finland. |
