Blend Pedal

I was looking for a pedal that could play simultaneously through one cab, a clean signal from my bass as well as a distorted signal. I was looking at the Boss LS-2 in particular. So what I was planning on doing was buying a OD pedal, plug my clean signal into the LS-2, then loop it back with the OD then go to the cab through the LS-2 again. Does anyone know if the LS-2 is capable of doing all this? Remember, I want a clean and distorted tone at the same time so I can have the lows/highs I want, and still have the distortion cut through.

It sure can. I do the same albeit with a DIY job.

I think you choose the A+B setting and run the dirty through loop B, I am not 100% on the specifics though as I do not own the pedal.

Hmmm, what other marvelous things can it do? I was going to get it for just that, but if there are other cool things I would like to know.

you can also use the LS-2 as a clean boost, and a 2 in 1 out, or 1 in 2 out mixer. great unit, a must have. I just picked up a Radial Big Shot Mix pedal which is similar but more limited in what it can do, but it does the clean blend thing, has discreet class A circuitry and also has a polarity switch. it's not cheap but is a great unit.
