blender pedal with two other effect pedals

Sign in to disble this ad
so im getting a blender pedal in soon (wounded paw) and im thinking of getting a vt bass pedal. along with my fuzz factory that would 3 pedals in the chain. how would the blend work with these two other pedals?

i mean one pedal is easy enough to imagine im wondering if i would have to work some dial wizardry for them to sound right.

Blending is a conversation that can get very big, very quick. I can think of (off the top of my head) about 5 different scenarios how you could use just those three pedals.

I suggest you play and then ask questions as the pedals start to win the battle.

Mostly because I'm too lazy to answer questions you'll answer on your own later.

In my experience, the VT sounds best when it affects the whole signal. I've tried blending it with a Boss LS-2, with the VT in one loop and a Big Muff and other effects run parallell in the other loop. To me, the VT made everything sound better so I put it after the blender.

Now my signal-chain is as following:
- Boss TU-3
- Boss LS-2 (in A+B mix mode):
---> Line A: EHX Micro POG and EHX Russian Big Muff
---> Line B: MXR Bass Octave Deluxe and MXR Bass Envelope Filter
- Sansamp VT bass
- ISP Decimator

Sounds great!

Yes. Bass goes in the tuner and the Decimator goes to the amp.

I'll bet it does. I've run stuff similar in the past I can attest to that being a pretty badass setup.

Badass indeed! They're on a Pedaltrain Junior and if I move the MXR-pedals a bit, I could fit the Zvex Wooly Mammoth there as well. Not that I use it that much, but it's a shame to leave it out.

I also have a Pedaltrain 1 with another band:

- Korg Pitch Black tuner
- EBS Octabass
- Digitech Bass Synth Wah
- Colorsound Bassfuzz
- EHX Bass Big Muff
- Sansamp Bassdriver
- Line 6 Echo Park
- Dunlop 105Q Basswah

Yes, I am fond of dirt pedals. I also have an EBS Multidrive, an EBS Multicomp and a Boss CEB-3 that has no board... Pedaltrain Nano, maybe?
