Bogdan "Polish Love"

A.K.A. Helter Skelter. Ok so I got one of these in a trade (thanks TALL&STOUT) and it just makes my day! Best O/D i've used! My Digitech Badder Monkey is slightly jealous but this is more....defined versus my DBM is more just tubey creamy goodness. anyone have any experiences with this pedal and if so how and why?

There are lots of people that have experience with this pedal. The Polish Love phase was hot and heavy back in 2008.

I have two of them in case one breaks. The pedal is great; however, the Pork Loin eventually replaced the PL on my board. Now, I'm probably going to replace the Pork Loin with my newly acquired Sub-Lime.

If you really like Bogdan's stuff, you should consider the PoleMaster as well. That's a great pedal!

the way huge pork loin and the polemaster sound really good! I have a way huge swollen pickle and its great! might look into the WHPL. i guess im retro b/c it was hot in '08. oh well im a retro gamer, bassist, effect pedal junkie and music lover!

hey chronicle since we are on the polish subject how is the polish hate "mephisto"? I read your review and heard the soundclips and now...GAS! i sent an email as well, does he still make them or do I have to scour the earth in search of one? thanks!

I'm sure he'll make ya one. It's a sweet vintage sounding fuzz. It's a fuzz even the older generation (40+) would enjoy hearing.

Polish hate is good. Kind of like a slap in the face, but in a good way.. However, I traded it away and got a polemaster, more like a shotgun to the face, in an awesome way.

the polemaster sounded really good and might have to try to acquire one. i sent bogdan an email that requested a "mephisto" and also to add myself to his list of owners. heres hoping one day i get a lil "polish hate!"
