Bogdan's New Pedal (Maestro Bass Brassmaster)

Sign in to disble this ad
I sent an e-mail to Bogdan about his new pedal - the Maestro Bass Brassmaster clone. He said it costs $120. I'm attaching a picture.

Has anyone got this pedal or tried it? I do apologize if there is something out there already. I searched and found a brief discussion on it in the Polish Hate thread. I didn't see anything specifically only this pedal though.

It seems like this is a cheap alternative to the Malekko B:Assmaster. However, hasn't Malekko tweaked their pedal to supposedly sound even better than the old Maestro pedal? I'm not sure if Bogdan has done this, or if he is just doing a straight up clone. If the former, it's definitely a cheaper alternative. If the latter, it's definitely cheaper, but may not sound as good.

Any thoughts?

Someone needs to buy one and not like it so I can trade them something of lesser value for it.

Regardless, color me intrigued.

Man, I'm such a nice guy. I put my order in. You all can just sit back and relax.

As soon as I get it, I'll post clips. I'll also keep you updated on when I receive it.

Unfortunately, I don't have the Malekko pedal to do a comparison. Oh well.

Maybe we should start a poll to find out what TB members should call it. How do I start a poll?

In the spirit of all the name changes going on, someone should change his name to Pole Master...

Can't wait to hear some clips!

I'd have called it the Ass Krakow.

Or maybe Warsaw Ass.

I'm from Kraków, so I think that "Warsaw Ass" sounds better

Oh man, this definitely has my interest. If this thing actually sounds as good, or even close to go, as the B:Assmaster, then I'd to get one. I've always wanted one of Bogdan's pedals, but I'm not a big fan of the Polish Love.
