Boost + On/off switch in one box

Ok.
I can only assume this would be a pretty simple build. I haven't built a pedal myself yet.
What I'm trying to do is build a boost pedal, and a on/off switch for my amp in one box. So I can stomp on both switches at the same time. The on/off would go to the back of the amp and select between clean/overdrive channels(VB2).
The boost would be a boost to the usual instrument input on the amp.

I found that on the FZ-2 that I have I really like the boost section. Especially when the tubes are already in overdrive. I have an LPB1 that I acquired in a trade, but I never needed to use it until now. And its broken

So I figured I could kill two birds
So this kit or any other (cant view ggg right now):
http://www.buildyourownclone.com/confidence.html

and how would I put a on/off switch in there too?
I know I would need a footswitch another output and I'm sure something else.
Basically this:http://www.peavey.com/products/brows...n%20Switch.cfm
So those 2 links, in one pedal.
Thoughts?
Things to consider?
Anybody want to do it cheap?
Does anybody have something similar to this?
Is there a way to do it with only one footswitch?
Do my ramblings make any sense? haha. I can expand on this with more incoherent babble!

The most important thing is to identify exactly what kind of switch your amp needs. It is not a generic "on/off" situation.

Once you have identified that, then it's a very easy build. Yes, the BYOC is a fine choice for the booster side.

"Use a single button ON/OFF (NOT momentary) switch with a 1/4" mono plug. You can find one on the Peavey website under accessories, some Peavey dealers stock them, or EBAY."
Taken from my pm from BbbyBld who helped develop the VB2.

I could just buy the switch and rehouse it...

On a side not I just got some wicked DejaVu...
