Boss 708-II for 100 US$ - good, bad or ugly?

I've just been offered the above multi-FX pedal which seems in pretty good condition, the rocker pedal is fully functional, the LED screen's intact (minor scratches around it, nothing serious), all effects seem to be in working order - and I actually like them.

Considering this'd be my first effects pedal of any sorts - what say you? Is 100$ too high or reasonable?

Too high. Half that is fair.

Anything over $75 is too much...so that's definitely high

I say move along and put the money on a new B2.1 instead. The processor in the new one is far superior.
