BOSS AW-3 Dynamic Wah

Anyone playing one of these? I just got one and I can't seem to get a setting I really like, when I get a good funk wah it comes out kind of distorted. Any suggested settings? Right now im at : Decay: 9 oclock, Maunual: 10/11 oclock, Sense: 9 oclock, Mode: down. I'm trying to duplicate this auto wah filter I used in garage band. You can hear the track if you want at myspace.com/queenletdown at about 1:41. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I really like mine, I don't have it with me right now so I can't do a test I'm afraid. It's a very versatile pedal, but it is quite subtle. try tweaking with the sharp mode, it's the most extreme of the bunch. Overall a good buy though.

I moved to Decay: 11 oclock, Manual:11 oclock, Sense: 8 oclock, Mode:sharp. Sounds more like what I was going for. Any other suggestions?

I have one but I haven't used it in a while.

Jimbob is right, the tweakability is pretty high with that pedal so you have spend a bit of time getting it dialed in.

In fact this is the only Boss pedal I've owned (yet).

I have this pedal and I like it, but I seriously hate the sharp mode on bass.

Also check out vocalizer setting with both vowels set to "I" - very nice fuzz indeed.
