So you can use two amps if you wanted to.

Many chorus pedals allow for stereo chorus sounds - all you need are two amps. Otherwise, with one amp, it's just mono sound - the original standard.

But the CEB-3 is a bit odd... it's not true stereo. One output is 100% dry, the other is 100% effect.

Now, if you're just using one output, it'll be a mixed dry/wet signal. It only does that split when both outputs are used.

You're pretty new here, huh?

Use the search function and type in "power supply".

After you see how many great power supplies exist for powering multiple pedals (Boss and non-Boss), and how few of us use that awful and impractical Boss-brand daisy chain, you'll thank me later.

In a nutshell... most of us are using one of the following to power our pedals:
- Visual Sound 1 Spot (a single AC adapter with plenty of daisy-chaining flexibility to power multiple pedals)
- Godlyke Powerall (the same thing as the 1 Spot)
- Dunlop DC Brick (a power supply brick that can power 9VDC and 18VDC pedals)
- Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 (a very flexible power supply brick that can provide a variety of voltages and power pedals that are sensitive to power input)

Do a little reading on these power supplies - it's well worth your time to be informed!

There are many altenatives to the boss made power supply all of which are usually on ebay. all that you need is a 9V dc adaptor with a center negative pin which can also be used to power a few pedals if it has a daisy chain on it.

Or you could get a visual sound 1spot that will power almost every pedal you own at once with the right adaptors. http://cgi.ebay.com/Visual-Sound-1-S...QQcmdZViewItem
