| Boss Bass Chorus loss of high end. What is better?

I occasionally use a little chorus for jazz and/or fretless. I've had a Boss Bass Chorus (CEB-3) for probably 10 years, but the high-end goes away and things start to get muddy when the effect is engaged. I really started to notice it more prominently when I added a bypass loop to my board and put my Boss effects in that loop.
So, I sometimes toy with the idea of something different. I honestly don't use a lot of effects, but I do enjoy having a little chorus for certain things - especially on the fretless. What are some other really nice sounding chorus effects that DON'T cut out the highend or become muddy. I know they are out there - I've heard them - just don't know what they are. |
