what's your favorite effects pedal? That's your question!? Here's a search function moment if I ever saw one.

ODB3 gets much love and hate, it's just that kind of pedal. I had one on my main board for years until it was bumped by a Lo|Fat, now it's on the synth board.

It's more of a distortion pedal than an overdrive pedal. Really the only time you can get overdrive is with the gain turned all the way or almost all the way down. There are other pedals out there that offer a much better range of true overdrive.

That said I love the ODB-3 for retention of low end. When I stomp on it I lose absolutely none of my tone - the high/low eq works very well.

IMO and IME, the odb3 would suit harsh metal / Industrial better than heavy rock.
Plenty of info around here about this sort of thing dude!

Count me as one that hates this thing. Bought one years ago from a Mars Music (remember them?), never found a single usable tone, lost it along the way somewhere. My memory says it had a really "fake" tone, just synthetic and gross. Haven't tried it in years, maybe I'd like it now, but there seem to be far better options out there, depending on what tone you're after.
