Actually, if you read the rules (like you're supposed to), you'd find that TB is really not that restrictive.
To clarify what Bongo said... there are special forums here for "Wanted" ads and "For Sale" ads. Wanted ads don't go in the Effects forum.
Although you have to be a Supporting Member to post new threads in those forums, anyone can browse the current ads and post replies or send PMs to the sellers to let them know you want to buy their item.
So basically, you're mad for all the wrong reasons. Like anything else in life, you're supposed to read the rules and follow them so you don't get in trouble for breaking them.
