Boss BF-2 w/high output & active bass

Has anyone used a Boss BF-2 with a high output, active bass?
Do they work well together? I've had some pedals distort due to the active/hot signal. Anyone...?

Yeah they work well together. I have a MM with super high output and it plays nice with my BF-2. Sounds great!
