Just picked up a killer Boss CE-2 and LOVE THE TONE she works perfect with a 9 Volt but when I plugged it into my PP2+ (the same plug I use for my Boss 0C-2) I get nothing???

Yeah, the old CE-2 has a slightly different power requirement. When I gad one, it would function on a PP2+, but the LED wouldn't light.

When I plugged it in and the LED didn't light I just pulled it off the board figuring it didn't work...
I read that it needs to run at regulated 12volt's and outputs 1-4 on the PP2+ with the switch in the non normal position achieves that can somebody confirm this so I don't fry the pedal?

OH SHOOT I just realized my PP2+ came with one of those 9Volt adapter cables....
I just pulled my PP2+ manuel and it confirms I should run one of the 1-4 outputs in the non normal mode wouldn't that be a better option???

Look at the pedal, does it say 'requires Boss PSA adapter' or 'requires Boss ACA adapter'? If it's the latter then use outputs 1-4 with the dip switch flipped

Quote:
9/12V (x4) – Standard 9V and 12V Boss ACA
With each one of these four outputs delivering 100mA, you can easily power any 9V battery-operated pedals. Boss pedals that specify the PSA adapter operate at 9V like most other pedals. Boss pedals that require the ACA adapter operate at 12V which can be selected via switches underneath the Pedal Power 2 Plus. Any one of these outputs can be individually selected to run at 9V or 12V.
