Post Boss DD-5 ...warm up?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just picked up a used Boss DD-5. I noticed that when i plug it in... it seems like there's a warm up time.. The LED turns for a couple seconds and then fades out...

works great and everything.. but i was just wondering if this was normal?

I've noticed that digital pedals have a delay time before being ready. I've always attributed this to boot time.

The older Boss Digital Delays, in particular, turn on and stay on for a few seconds. I've noticed that with a PS-3, DD-5, RV-3, etc.

Totally normal operating procedure.
