 Boss DR 880 pattern scripts

Dears,
Boss DR 880 is a nice drum machine. There are a lot of useful bass and drum patterns in it. Is there any method to show the patterns on screen ? or Has anyone here transcripted the pattern into a paperback or pdf?
I think to use midi interface to record the patterns into a midi sequencer is a good method. But how to handle the synchronizing setup ot le the midi sequencer to follow the speed of the dr880 automaticly rather than setting the tempo maunually pattern after pattern?
Besides, the midi note in the sequencer is not bassist friendly for reading. Is there any software can display these midi messages through a more musical way and more like a score?
