Boss DR770 drum machine

I need the input jack on this drum machine.I borrowed it to a friend and when I got it back will only work if you wiggle the cord.The tine inside the jack is broken,almost like somebody stepped on the machine.i have checked Radio shack and a few music stores but no dice.Looks to be a simple(famous last words) fix if I can just find the jack.Thx for the help

You re most likely SOL. That jack is probably hard soldered to the circuit board and a tech will have to de-solder it for removal and solder a new one in place.

I think you're right after I had another look at it.A regular soldering iron would probably melt other solder connections.Ticks me off too,as it is a few years old but still worth a few bucks,even at the Music Go round(if it worked)
