Boss Effects: Taiwan vs. Japanese versions?

Hi everyone. Does anyone know if there is a significant difference in sound/build quality between these two versions of, say, a Boss compressor or octaver? Thanks

It doesn't matter in long run everything is coming from China and the region. Even stuff that is labeled MIA in America that only means final assembly is done in USA. Look at all the parts and components where they're made and they are coming from China and that region. Like anywhere there is good stuff coming from there and junk. I would say if it sounds like what I want I use it.

You'd be better off trying to find a pedal made on Tuesday rather than Friday for all the difference it's gonna make.
