Boss Equalizer Old(brown) OR New (white)

well i have the option of trading a MIJ boss bass equalizer (brown) but i never used one, can anyone tel me if the MIJ (brown) version is any better or different from the current version

Personally I don't believe one is any better or worse then the other. The only exception for the brown boss bass pedals is the CE-B2 bass chorus pedal which is based on the CE-2 guitar pedal. Which I like better then the current Boss CEB-3 bass pedal.

Maybe the only difference might be price. You can get the GE-7B relatively cheap from $35-$50 range.

Some people might tell you the MIJ ones are better but find both a bit noisy unless modded to quiet the noise.

i had both of them at the same time and didn't notice anything different.

My high school colors were brown, gold & white, so I had to go with the brown one...

So... if your school colors were uh.. white, brown, and gold, you would have went with the white then? lol..

Lets see here, IIRC, "If it's yellow it's mellow, if it's brown flush it down." So.. go with the white?

I have a white one, it does the trick- That would be my suggestion.
