Boss FBM-1 fender bassman pedal... reviews/experiences etc.

Sign in to disble this ad
Okay, forgive me if this has already been covered, I did a search and couldn't find anything so here I am.

I'm thinking of getting one of these pedals (Boss FBM-1 fender bassman pedal) to enhance my sound abit. Has anyone used one, or has one in their current rig?

I want to get a few opinions before I buy one, and it seems as if TB is a good place to get decent opinions on gear.

Thanks,

Dan

We did have a couple of small threads in the past. IIRC the few people that had tried or heard one, said it was really not voiced well for bass.

I tried out the Bassman pedal and it really isn't much good for bass. Sadly, it just doesn't have the bottom end. It doesn't make any sense.

Well it somewhat does (even though it is a BASSman) but the origianl (or reissue) '59 bassman amp is mostly use by guitar players not bass players.
