I know that as far as guitar goes, its supposed to be Electric Wizard in a box.

Never heard much about it on bass, but I believe Holy War had/has one.

I have an FZ-2 and as Deluge of Sound said, it's Electric Wizard in a box. It's my favorite fuzz besides my Grey Stache

just picked up a FZ-2 and LOVING it! Blows the Bass big muff away. I've been shaping it up with a BDDI to dial in a scooped, monster doom tone.

It's like a laser beam of fudge covered in shrapnel.

...and thats all I can say about that.

There is sound samples of the boss fz-2 on the wiki section of this website. go to wiki and then go to effects and then select effects database. there you'll find a lot of sound samples of certain effects. there are three sound samples of the boss fz-2 in one clip. from what I know is true, the industrial rock band orgy uses the boss fz-2 on everything including bass.
