Boss FZ-2 for bass?

Just got an offer from a guy to trade me a FZ-2

I know its an awesome pedal for guitar (used on a bunch of Electric Wizard albums and they tune down to B and A#), but how is it for bass?

The boss fz-2 sounds killer on bass. there is a sound sample of this pedal(even though it's three sound samples in one clip) on the wiki section of this site. go to the wiki section, then select effects, then go to effects clip database. there you'll find lots of sound samples of pedals on bass. that includes the boss fz-2. also the guys from the band orgy uses that pedal on guitar and bass.
