boss geb-7 question

Sign in to disble this ad
My amp comes with a parametric equalizer but for 27 bucks i got the geb-7 and i figured i could get more diverse with it.
would it make more sense to set everything on the amp at noon and turn of the parametric equalizer. Then use the geb-7 to get my sound?

No. Use your amp to get your basic tone. Then use the pedal for an alternate one that can be switched on and off whenever you need something different.

Then do that. I'm just advising you on how to get the most out of the pedal.
