If you want be able to hear subtle differences and make changes to the patches to create your own sounds you need to know where all the options are on this processor. |

Also, run thru a lot of the presets and EZTones first. Some are crap (nothings perfect), but there are some that will give you some idea as to how far the unit on its own can go.
Consider getting either an EXP or the dual footswitchs later. I knew that I wanted 2 exps, and had an EXP/Volume at my disposal, but I'd definitely consider getting the 2 FSs if the right situation came up.
EDIT: @ gumtown: is that editor via MIDI only? Have you thought about a USB version?

I did find this via google: http://www.nabble.com/Boss-GT-10-td17674980.html |

I use an external midi adapter on Linux (Edirol UA20) which works fine.

I've been checking out your samples of the 10B and was wondering if you could post some of the distortions by themselves and maybe some of the amp models? Great clips by the way.
Take Care,
Brent

Take Care,
Brent | Maybe post some of your GT-10B patches, interested to see what patches other GT-10B users have.
Also looking for patches to add to FxFloorBoard editor too, i any one got some to share with the GT-10B world .

The only diff is that one patch is forward delay, and one is reverse. Since the delay "resets" when you switch types, unlike the modulation switching I have going on I figured I might as well just split the patches that way. I just stick it in manual mode and play |

Take Care,
Brent | Here's the distortion samples. The preamp section is a LOT more complex than the drive/tone of the OD/DS thang, and is harder to really demo without some serious planning IMHO.
