Boss GT-10B USB to 1/4" Stereo Outputs

So, I've had my GT-10B for a few years now and I really love it. Has SO much functionality. Recently, I've been using it as an audio interface via USB on my Mac. Been incorporating ableton into my live shows.

The GT-10B shows up as an output device on Ableton having 2 outputs (L/R). I split the output to have the master track on one side (L) and the metronome on the other (R). This will allow me to keep time without the metronome going thru the main speaker. Btw, I am running all the sound thru my bass amp.

So, I have a questions regarding the stereo outputs. Everything works as planned thru the headphones and the sub-outputs. Master output on one side (L), metronome on the other (R). But, the 1/4" inputs do not come out as stereo. It is mono out of both outputs.

Is there an option to allow the 1/4" outputs to be L/R for the USB audio? Reading thru the manual, seems like they are only stereo for onboard effects and amp modeling, not USB. Am I correct here? Has anyone tried the same thing?
