Boss gt-6b help needed!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Ive got it set up with a patch per song. Basiclly each one has my sound and then the fx I need for that song if any. But when I switch from one patch to another it likes to activate on or more of the FX.
So I go from song 1 with no individual pedals on, press bank up to go to the next song and it comes in with for instance the phaser switched on. So I switch it off, change bank/patch whatever you wanna call it, go back to it again and hey presto, it's back on. I want to be able to just go from patch to patch and then bring in the fx. Not have to change patch, switch fx off till I use em and then switch em back off again only for them to come back on when I go back to that patch
if you get me!
How on earth do I dictate which sounds are preset to on/off at the patch change?
Help!!
Cheers
:-D

Ps any tips on how to get a decent synth sound (for 'broken' on the loungefly myspazz) and funky filter sound?

after you turn the effects off on the patch, save the patch (press 'write' twice) before you change patches. when you change patches, any unsaved (unwritten) changes you made disappear.

as for the funky synth, there are some decent synth sounds available in bass synth, you just have to play around with it for a while. also, octave (> fuzz) > touch wah gives a pretty sweet synthy sound. and you could always combine that with a synth for extra craziness.

Cheers bud. I thought I'd tried that tbh but I'll check again. Should i turn em off at the switch perhaps instead of the pedal?
I'll have a gander
