Question Boss GT10B owners please help

Sign in to disble this ad
Recently I bought myself a Boss GT10B effect and I'm having some trouble working out how to use one function on it. I'm trying to assign functions to the expression pedal but for some reason I doesn't work. For example I would like to assign the Flanger to it so when the pedal is pressed all the way down it uses the effect but when it's up it's just a clean sound. I've tried so many different things and still no luck If any of you would be so kind to offer some advice I would greatly apreciate it

I thought you could only use the pedal for volume or wah. I could be wrong, but that's the way i understood it.

There is a way to do it on the GT8, assume it would be the same on the GT10. Am not at home so can't recall exact details. At a high level, it would be the same approach as setting up the tuner to engage when the expression pedal is all the way off. Go to: www.bossgtcentral.com -- very likely the good folks there will know.

On the GT6-B you use the pedal assign feature, and then in that menu you have the option of any parameter in any active effect. I'm sure it would be very similar for the GT10-B. That assignability is what makes the GT's so versatile and powerful...they wouldn't have removed the function.
