Boss GT10B Volume Fix

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok think l have found a volume fix for patches, but its a long road because you have to adjust each patch to the same or similar level, and unless you have some sort of volume measuring device it could be abit hit and miss.

Basically you assign volume to one of your ctl pedals and adjust volume to desired level then write, volume should stay where it was set.

ok, find the patch you need to edit, press Master/Pedal FX button (above the 3 pedal), move over to PDL FX press CATEGORY/ENTER, look at the CTL1 setting on the screen and remember it, turn the first knob (under CTL1) till you get to -10 or +10 depending on if you need to increase or decrease volume, press CTL1 pedal (under 1ist BANK pedal) till volume is where you want, return CTL1 to previous setting and press write twice.

Volume should be the same every time you return to patch.

If this is a preset you have to set the user number to where you want, or you'll lose patch at U01-1.

Hope this works for you.

There a reasonably priced sound level meters on eBay for anyone needing one, l'm going to try the digitech mini sound level meter, you need a meter that is programed to human hearing. Frequency weighting: A.
