Question Boss GT6B

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi (:

I was wandering if the boss GT6B is a good buy.

Can anyone who have it or know it tell me if it's good or bad and what experience you have with it (:

Hoping to hear from you :P

I don't know if you mean, is it a good deal in general or is it a good deal in comparison to another multi-effect...but here goes.

If you like multi-effects pedals its pretty good. Some place was selling it for approximately $250 not to long ago (sorry I can't remember who). If you can find it for that price I'd say its a really good deal.

The main complaint I had with it is that you couldn't edit or update by plugging it into your computer like you can with the Line 6 stuff. So it can take a little more time to deep edit effects or organize patches than it would with the line 6.

As far as effect sound quality, I think its comparable to or better than the Line 6. However, the amp emulators might not be quite as good.
