Boss me-50b?

Is this a good board to buy or am I better off buying individual pedals? I'm looking for flanger, synth, wah, and OD. Should I buy this board or individual pedals?

This has been covered. Use search. IMO, buy it used and find out what you like. Do you like the flanger? the chorus? the synth? Then go off with that information and buy individual pedals.

A search is definitely a good idea. Personally, I really got into effects after tinkering around for a while with a cheap Zoom bass multi-effect thing. I learned more about which effects I liked and how to use them. Although the Boss ME 50 B is way better quality-wise, it can be a first step towards assembling a pedalboard more suited to your playing. But you also might end up quite satisfied with the Boss unit. I have several in my board and they do just fine.

The boss me-50b is not too shabby. If you want a more advanced bass multi-effects processor at an affordable price, I would recommend the korg ax3000b. it has a tube overdrive effect that sounds pretty cool and an amp model that has an overdriven bass sound. the modulation effects is top notch. their flanger effects sounds phenomenal. their wah effects has a decent sound. even though I don't use wah effects that much. and their bass synths sounds more advanced compared to the boss me-50b. especially because you can enhance the bass synth by combining it with the distortion channels. I definitely recommend this multi-effects processor.
