Boss Micro BR or Pandora or computer?

Sign in to disble this ad
I was about to buy a Boss micro BR or pandora and then saw rifftracker (which only supports guitar). So I was wondering if there is any software or something that would replace the Boss Micro BR or Pandora and do the following:

1. Allow me to plug my bass into laptop
2. Plug headphones into laptop for silent practice
3. Play along to MP3's that are on laptop
4. Record, say 4 tracks.
5. Remove the bass line from an MP3

Does it exist or do I just need to buy the Boss Micro BR or Pandora?

I can't answer your question but I can tell you that the Micro BR does not remove bass tracks from MP3s. It does is play MP3s at either normal or slow speed but I think a dedicated trainer has more whistles and bells in that department. If you're happy to use your laptop I'm sure there are cheaper more flexible alternatives to the Micro BR but I know nothing about them.

I thought I saw some people saying they are using GuitarPort and Rifftracker but then I read somewhere else that GuitarPort doesn't support bass (whatever that means, since couldn't you just plug in and still hear your bass?)
