heres a demo of my Boss OC3 using the P-bass pickup of my Yamaha Attitude Special.

Starts in POLY mode, then OC2 then Drive, messing about with all the parameters in each mode. The Demo was done to show the good and the bad sides of the pedal, I'm also tuned in Dropped D and the main riff i play begins there, ending in D of 12th fret (higher) D-string, some modes sound better than others in different registers, personally i prefer the OC2-mode, but it doesnt shine as well on the demo. I also play a few chords in OC-2 mode just so you can hear the glitching.

sorry about the playing (as usual)

hmmm. not to be a jerk but by starting in drop D, you're not really giving this pedal much of a chance - even the best tracking octavers tend to sound crappy that low.

yes, the clip was originally done as a response to a player was playing tuned low C and was interrested in an octaver, hence the demonstration is in low D, but it does go up two octaves, and the sound of the octaver becomes much more stable and refined from the middle D, which is what i wanted to demonstrate. I agree that im not exactly demonstrating the 'best' way to use the octaver, but this will hopefully give a greater understanding of the downfalls of the pedal as well as its positive aspects.
