BOSS ODB-3 MODS??

Heys guys it's been a while since i'v posted anything or even logged on to talkbass so i don't know if this has been asked before. i was wondering if anybody had any boss bass overdrive (ODB-3) MODS they would like to share. i ran into this pedal for $25 at a pawnshop and figured i would mess around with it since it was inexpense!! any help will be appreciated! thanks ya

I don't think there are any ODB-3 mods to speak of. At least I've never heard of any. Sorry.

I know there were some for the OD3 for guitar that would work with bass but i was curious to see if anyone had any specifically for the ODB-3!! thanks though!! if anyone has any information it will be helpful

Well, a good start would be to replace all of the caps in the audio path with high-quality metal film non-polar caps. But that's just a general upgrade to any cheap pedal.

Yes, there are some. Improves the sound significantly. But you have to pay for the book how to do it. Not that much. Change out three or 4 parts.

Indy Guitarist say they have a mod for the ODB-3 http://http://www.indyguitarist.com/mods.htm

it doesn't actually say what that mod actually is however...

thanks guys all great info. i think i might end up buying that book. i didn't know they had anything like that!
