What setting do you guys use on this pedal?

Do you normally use it for just a little grit in your sounds, or for all out distortion?

If just grit (what i'm looking for) what settings do you like for it? thanks!

Off. LOLOLOLOL

When I had one I stuck to two of the settings shown in the book, and always got a perfectly okay tone. HeavyDrive and Natural OverDrive they were called. First Google result for "odb-3 manual" is the PDF.

Damn... to slow to get an "off lol " in.

Other than the ones in the manual, I usually liked the blend and gain in a similar position. Low gain, I kept the blend closer to clean. Higher gain, I moved more toward the overdriven signal. Usually kept the Lows under 2:00 and the highs between 10:00 and 2:00. Kept things from being too muffled or muddy.

I should've tried more settings with the lows and highs dropped to get more mids, but never did.

I have two OD pedals.

The Ibanez OD pedal is terrific.

When I played g****r, the Boss OD pedal was a must, and made everything better. Not so much on bass

I i've benn playing around with mine for a while and finally got a setting today i like. I use to use it with my big muff but couldnt find a setting now i use it with a Boss eq. Its just a little bit of overdrive, I have a big muff for big distortion.

Here is the setting

Level - what ever you want
EQ - high-all the way to the right low-12
balance - all the way to the right
gain - 9
