boss odb-3 schematic

does anyone have a schematic of the boss odb-3? or any other bass overdrive/distortion schematic? i really want to make my one pedal so i can mod i as i please...

i have found a schematic of the odb-3 but it's so small you can't even read it...

IIRC the ODB-3 has very small on-board components that would be very difficult (but not impossible) to modify. In all honesty, you're probably better off finding another bass-friendly overdrive to use instead. (or a non-bass friendly overdrive to use in a clean blend chain, or bi-amp setup)

ok, tnx, i've done some research and i found that it is possible to use a boss DS-1 for bass with just a little bit of modding.

Change c3 to a larger cap, around .15uF-.22uF.
Try changing c8 to a 4.7uG. Then try changing r16 to 3.3k.

the schematic was easy to find, so i guess ill just give it a try...

anyone tried this before, knowing how it sounds?
