Boss PH-2

I'm getting a serious decrease in volume with this pedal, I'm starting to really hate it, anybody else have this issue? Also, can anyone speak for the MXR Phase 90 on whether or not there is any any loss on volume?

I've never had any volume loss from my Phase 90. The MXR is a great phaser. Total classic too. Never tried the PH-2, tried the PH-3 once. I preferred the one knob simplicity of the Phase 90 though.

Yeah I'm thinking that the MXR is the way I wanna go, I definitely like the 1 knob thing.

I'm long time owner of a PH-2 and never found a volume issue. With that said I did a mod to it from a website: google " super phaser mods" and its a free step by step way to mod your PH-2. I'm not associated with the site at all but there's 3 mods you can do to it:

Gain Boost
LFO disable
Phase Inversion

All VERY effective!

I noticed more of a low-end loss than anything else, especially in Mode I. The PH-3 doesn't have that issue, and i've never tried the Phase 90 so i can't comment.
