| Boss PH-3 issues

I have a Boss PH-3 phaser, and recently it has been showing a yellow light when it is bypassed. It goes red like normal when it is engaged, but doesn't seem to sound the same. I'm running it with a power supply, not batteries. The power supply has more than enough current to power the things it is hooked up to.
