Boss PW-10 V-Wah... Are they any good for bass?

The fact that these are made to fit perfectly on the Boss BCB-60 pedalboard (which I already have), being programmable, and having all the other built-in effects (od/synth/ect), makes this pedal very high on my GAS list. But do they sound good?

I have a Precision and a StingRay, playing mostly the P these days. I would love to go try one out, but I'd probably spend 50% of the cost of one just to drive round trip to a dealer.

Tried a search on this, no luck there. Thanks for any and all opinions!

i actually have one, it kinda didnt seem strong for some reason but i think if your tone is tweaked to the point where the wah sweeps work well with it, then i think it will work for that person. (im looking to trade it for some other pedals!) i think it suits the guitar better.....i have a white wah bass that seems decent i just dont like the quick cut in and cut out it kinda does but i work with it. EBS has a cool looking bass wah and there are many out there that look like theyll work even better.(the programable part i never used, and it takes a-a batteries)

I like a lot of mids, so I figure most wah pedals would work for me. I've owned a couple of Dunlop Bass Crybaby pedals during my youthful "smileyface eq" days, and they seemed "weak" too. I've not messed with one in ages, but since I've learned better eq techniques, I'll probably get better use out of one now.

I've banked on getting a Morley or the 105Q, but the Boss looks damn cool right now. Anybody else have any opinions, pros or cons?
