Boss RC-2 Loop Station question...

Sign in to disble this ad
I see that they have an 1/8th input jack. Can that be used to download a sample?Say a low-fi drum beat?

I was thinking it would be cool to use it for songs that have a electronic drum/rhythm intro.

Like this song for instance.

I could trigger the beat as I start the song on bass and the kill it when the real drums kick in....

Just tried on my RC20 and it worked, so it should work on the RC2.

Thanks....Since it would be a sample and not a MIDI file can you still control the tempo of the sample?

yeah, think so. my guitarist used one to trigger some sampled intros from the album (including me playing piano ) at one of our gigs.
